Identification
Wing bars are present, but may number two or three depending on wear of feathers and pose
Distribution
Caribbean and South America:
Caribbean: Netherlands Antilles
South America: Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and central Argentina.
Breeds south of a line from Bolivia to the Atlantic about 1/5th from the southernmost point of Brazil, and found north of there as a migrant or winter guest. Vagrant in Trinidad.
