Overview
A small group of islands off the north coast of Brittany which hold the best seabird colonies in France.
Birds
Notable Species
Northern Gannet and Atlantic Puffin have their southernmost colonies here and nest alongside Northern Fulmar, Manx Shearwater and European Storm-petrel, Shag, Kittiwake and other gulls, Sandwich Tern, Razorbill and Common Guillemot.
Other species usually seen here are Northern Raven, Northern Wheatear and Rock Pipit, Common Shelduck breed and several species of wader occur on passage or in winter.
