I'm glad this farm land was set aside for migratory waterfowl. Lot's of Snow, Ross, Whitefronted, and Canada Geese. Beautiful ducks, Wigeon, Mallard, Ring-billed, Cinnimon teal, Gadwall, Bufflehead, and Ruddies. Interesting song birds I wish I could identify. Good viewing for Bald Eagle, Buteos, and Peregrine Falcon. The other wildlife refuges are not far away.
Pros
- Birds are not skitish when your car stops.
Cons
- It's in the middle of California\'s heartland
