Adult Male

  • Dark glossy green upperparts
  • Narrow rufous line above lores
  • Pale yellow collar

Distribution

South America: found in south-eastern Nicaragua to northern Bolivia, eastern Paraguay and southern Brazil.

They favour dark habitat along streams or inside forest ponds.
