Distribution
Australian endemic. Found in tropical areas of north-eastern Queensland
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Montane wet tropical zone.
Behaviour
A shy bird.
Diet
Their diet consists of arthropods, insects, including moths and skinks.
They forage alone or in pairs.
Breeding
Both adults build the nest.
Flight
Members of the Acanthizidae family have a characteristic undulating flight path.
