Identification

Distribution
Breeding in the Balkans, Turkey, Levant and the Middle East. Winters to Sudan.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1], which in the past has been considered a subspecies of Western Bonelli's Warbler.
Habitat
Maquis, wooded scree, desert areas with trees and bushes and parks.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
It is a ground nester. The clutch consists of 4-6 eggs.
