Description
Two species of chough. They occur in Europe, Asia and Africa. They share:
- Smooth tarsi
- Very short and dense nasal feathers
- Brightly coloured feet and bills
Both species are insectivores.
Taxonomy
Pyrrhocorax is a genus in the family Corvidae.
It is not closely related to White-winged Chough.
