Description
Hornbills from Asia.
- A tall, wrinkled casque
- A long white tail with either a black base or a black tip
- Females are all black
- Mainly frugivorous
- Wander large distances in search of fruiting trees
Taxonomy
Aceros is a genus in the family Bucerotidae.
White-crowned Hornbill and the species of the genus Rhyticeros are sometimes included in this genus.
