Blue-headed Vireo together with Plumbeous Vireo and Cassin's Vireo have recently been split; prior to the split, the combined species was Solitary Vireo. Blue-headed Vireo inherited the scientific name Vireo solitarius from the parent species, but luckily, it seems that all images in the Gallery with that scientific name are post split, in other words show a Blue-headed Vireo.

Habitat

Common in woodlands.

Behaviour

Sparrow like. Flits around a lot - tough to capture picture.

Voice

Song

Similar to Red-eyed Vireo, but slower.
