Distribution
Central and South America:
Central America: found in Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama
South America: western Colombia, western Venezuela, western Ecuador and Peru

Habitat
Lowland and foothill semi-decidluous forests, where they stick to the lower and understorey.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of insects such as grasshoppers, katydids and crickets; also adult and larval lepidoptera.
Breeding
Both adults construct the nest.
