Overview
Hingolgadh is approximately 654 sq km/252 sq miles of grassy, forested land within the dry land of Saurashtra. It has been said, it's real beauty is during the rainy season when things are really vibrant and the various forms of wildlife are at their most active. [2]
Hingolgadh was declared a sanctuary in 1980 and subsequently was recognized as an eco-educational center that is presently administrated, in it's present form by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Center (GEER). [3]
