- Black hood and upper breast
- Green upperparts, wings, tail and breast sides
- Yellow underparts
Distribution
South America: found in the Andes of southern Colombia, Ecuador to extreme northern Peru (Cajamarca)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Montane forests at heights around 1200–2300 m.
Behaviour
Diet
There is little information available, but it is thought that fruit is included in their diet.
