Distribution
From South Thailand over the Malay Peninsula to Sumatra, Java, Bali, Borneo, the Lesser Sundas and the southern Philippines.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
It formerly included Enggano Thrush.
Formerly placed in genus Zoothera.
Habitat
Rain forest.
