Genus: Ceratopipra

Description

Taxonomy

Ceratopipra would be a genus in the family Pipridae.
It is usually included in the genus Pipra.
Scarlet-horned Manakin, Red-capped Manakin, Round-tailed Manakin, Golden-headed Manakin and Red-headed Manakin are placed in this genus by Clements. Gill and Donsker however place them in the genus Dixiphia. The Opus awaits further clarification.
