Description
Taxonomy
Pipra is a genus in the Family Pipridae.
White-crowned Manakin has been moved to the genus Dixiphia. Gill and Donsker also place Scarlet-horned Manakin, Red-capped Manakin, Round-tailed Manakin, Golden-headed Manakin and Red-headed Manakin in this genus. Clements however places them in the genus Ceratopipra. The Opus awaits further clarification.
