Quelea cardinalis

Identification

Distribution

Central Africa: found from southern Sudan to Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, eastern Zaire, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Taxonomy

This is either a monotypic species[1] or two subspecies are recognized, cardinalis and rhodesiae[2].
