Africa:
Western Africa: South-eastern Nigeria to southern Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, DRC, northern Angola
Eastern Africa: South Sudan,western Kenya, western Uganda
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1] and the only member of its genus.
Habitat
Grasslands, shrubby areas, savannas, forests.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects, spiders and grass seeds.
Breeding
The clutch consists of 4-6 eggs which is incubated for 13 days. The young fledge about 20 days later.
