  • Black and white face

Distribution

Endemic to eastern Java.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It formerly included Sumatran Partridge, Roll's Partridge and Malaysian Partridge.

Habitat

Interior of lower and upper montane forests.

Behaviour

Diet

There is little recorded, but presumably consists of berries, palms and invertebrates.
