What is everyones favourite Raptor, Wader, Owl, Grouse (1 Viewer)

Raptor - Red Kite, I've seen them spread across the country and go from a rare sighting to one so frequent I'd be surprised if I didn't see one on a birding day out!

Wader - Sanderling, I just love how trusting and unbothered they are, if I stay still by the edge of the sea they'll come right up to me.

Owl - Tawny, though it's a much tougher pick - all are beautiful and the sort of sighting which makes my day!

Grouse - Far too Southern to answer this one! I did tick Red Grouse in my birdbook after a holiday in Yorkshire aged 8, but sadly left it off my list when I got into birding as an adult - I only count the few childhood sightings I can still picture now, and I have no memory at all of seeing grouse!
