What’s everyone’s favourite photo they have taken of a bird? (1 Viewer)

Really hard to decide, but if I had to decide on a top 5 today, they would be Stellar's Eagle on the Ice, Plate-billed Mountain Toucan, Javan Banded Pitta, Guianan Cock of the Rock and , Great-billed Kingfisher asked tomorrow it could be 5 totally different shots.

Up on a rooftop in Singapore near some buildings where peregrines are regularly seen. A father tells his kiddo not far from me, "Look, there's an eagle" and straight away I know what that has to be ... and THERE SHE IS, stunning female ernesti maybe only 20 feet above at least a couple dozen tourists walking around and talking. As calmly and deliberately as possible, I get the RX-10 out of its case (please don't fly off now, please please please...) and bang off some shots from pretty much point blank distance. My mother got a real good look with her Zeiss 8x25s too! She (the bird, not my mother) was there for a minute or more before she left her perch. I doubt I'll ever be as close to a perched peregrine ever again.
