A look around Forge Mill pool this morning produced Snipe 3, Pintail, Water Rail calling, R N Parakeet 4, Cettis brief glimpse + songbursts, Goldcrest 5+, Chiffchaff 2, Siskin at least 4, Bullfinch 3 at feeders, Meadow Pipit 4, Redwing 3 over, Grey Wagtail and a Sparrowhawk which put all the Lapwings and Gulls up!

This is only the sixth Valley record the others being the first in 2001, a bird in the 2012 and 2013 a bird heard briefly at Swan Pool this year and a bird heard briefly north island also this year
