Raptors - California (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Anxious to find out what species of raptors in the following two pictures. The second one seems to be a Golden Eagle with uniform brown feathers and a yellow patch around the nose; but it seems to be too small for a eagle. I was standing very close to him. My guess is he is only about 15 to 20 inches, much smaller for a Golden Eagle.

Thanks--

Granville
