2025 7 March undefined buteo bahariye island eyüpsultan. Behavior and characteristics of the undefined buteo bird (4 Viewers)

For example, I can draw a picture in the correct proportion without looking at any animal or using a ruler. For this reason, I can measure the size of a flying bird in centimeters or in the air.
some information I found

Do go on, this has all the makings of an all-time classic thread...
As a result, Buteo vulpinus has a rust red color, while Buteo trizonatus has a normal brown color, not a rust red color, and while Buteo trizonatus is striped brown, Buteo vulpinus is striped brown, but in most cases, but occasionally, some photos look the same.Buteo trizonatus always shows its white color while flying, but Buteo vulpinus does not.

As a result of the research, I found that Buteo vulpinus and Buteo trizonatus birds are closely related taxonomically and that the possibility of hybridization between the two species is high.

I examined it in detail and noticed that there was a comma in the buteo trizonatus bird on the left wing and there was no comma in the buteo vulpinus. The right wing is more spotted than the buteo vulpinus bird and has more distinct whiteness than the buteo vulpinus. The stripe color of the Buteo vulpinus bird is cream white, not white. I decided that the hawk I observed was buteo trizonatus beyond doubt.

Congrats, first for Western Palearctic. I still remember your first Forster's Tern for Turkey. After multiple experts on terns identified it as Common tern, you changed your mind and identified it as Forster's hybrid.
Self criticism is important in birdwatching, learning from peers too.

So, you are claiming a south African endemic species in Turkey? Seems very unlikely, to put it mildly.
Although rare, some buteo vulpinus birds have arrows, but while the forest hawk has them on both its right and left wings, buteo vulpinus has fewer and is not obvious. There are fewer lines in buteo vulpinus, but more lines in Buteo trizonatus.

Alauda gulgula bird is endemic to India. It was brought to Europe from India by some Europeans and later escaped individuals established a colony. For example, the dark-coloured whistle was endemic in the past, but it has now been found to be endemic in some places and not endemic in some places. For example, the southern ruby bee bird, which may have moved by poaching, storm or accident, came to Turkey with the European bee birds.

While the bird buteo vulpinus has a v spot on the left wing. Buteo trizonatus is not found in the bird. The bird I shot is likely to be a hybrid. The bird I shot is buteo sp. It has characteristics of both bird species.

The Buteo trizonatus bird has arrow-like feather tufts in its feathers, which Buteo vulpinus does not have.
I think it is a hybrid of buteo trizonatus X buteo vulpinus.
There are many distinct arrow marks in the buteo trizonatus bird, but fewer arrows are observed and not obvious in the buteo vulpinus bird.

ies.

The buteo vulpinus bird and the buteo trizonatus birds are taxonomically related and may have hybridized in southern Africa.
