Empidonax flycatcher, Florida (2 Viewers)

I managed to get a few photos of this flycatcher at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Florida two days ago. I don’t know whether enough detail is there to identify it specifically, but having little experience with this notoriously difficult genus, I’m going to have to rely on the expertise of others.

Probably Yellow-bellied. The primary extension and eye ring shape are consistent. I referenced Lee and Birch's North American Flycatchers, which turns out, is a major source for The Fern's Opus reference. So, full circle.

Yes but with lots of original analysis so as not to infringe copyright [and I don't have the recent book]

Thanks, guys. That chart on Empid ID looks really useful. I hadn’t seriously considered Yellow-bellied as Sibley described it as rare in FL in September, with Acadian the most likely Empid to encounter. Shouldn’t the bill look smaller in Yellow-bellied?

I'm not sure how many options there are. Compare with e.g. Acadian, especially the primary projection and you'll probably come to the same conclusion as 2 (independent) commentators. Least is rare there perhaps: head shape primary projection and bill are wrong for that imho. Worth looking at the headline images on ebird (others may be misidentified) to decide
