Black-throated Blue Warbler? N IL USA 5/12/22 (1 Viewer)

Hey All migration has been bountiful around here. I saw this guy any chance its a Black throated blue warbler?

The back and the hindneck contrast strongly, which is wrong for black-throated blue warbler in any plumage, and that species' white base to the primaries appears to be absent.
 
Good catch, Birdmeister. I never noticed the black mark under a chikadee's wing before! You're right about the pale cheek, and you can just see the black cap.
