Hermann. What is the OD of the eye cups in mm? Is there any way to switch them out? I have heard they are quite large. That was my main problem with the Banner Cloud APO 8x42. It had huge eye cups. Thanks!I wrote a review on the 6.5x32 CF: The APM 6.5x32: Mini review. No comparison to the SRBC though, I don' have one.

Haven't got my calipers here, so these measurements are approximate: The eyecup diameter is ~49 mm. The lenses are ~30mm in diameter.Hermann. What is the OD of the eye cups in mm? Is there any way to switch them out? I have heard they are quite large.
Thanks. The Banner Clouds APO 8x42 were 48mm, and they were huge, so that could be an issue for me.Haven't got my calipers here, so these measurements are approximate: The eyecup diameter is ~49 mm. The lenses are ~30mm in diameter.
The diameter of the eyecups is the largest I've seen, larger than that of the big Canon. I'm not sure if the eyecups can be switched out.

Because the eyepiece lens has got such a large diameter? 30mm is a lot.I wonder why they make the eye cups so large in diameter?
Well, I've got no problem with the eyecups at all. Even when I'm not wearing my eyeglasses.Possibly because they are MIC to fit the flatter facial structure of Asian market.
Good! Because I have a pair on order. Porro's are really sharp because the design is so simple. You like them better than your Oberwerk 8x32 SE? Does the FOV seem big?I love them. They're my go-to now vs my Kowa 6.5x32 and even my Oberwerk 8x32SE. The view is just too sharp to pass up. I feel like I'm missing fine details otherwise. The focuser could be faster for sure, but I don't find it problematic. The Kowa has a great fast focuser and I still find myself leaving them behind in favor of the APM's.
Definitely a big FOV. I can keep up with swallows at close distance. They bring out more detail than my Oberwerk 8x32SE, so they are hard to pass up.Good! Because I have a pair on order. I just asked for a comparison between the 8x32 Oberwerk SE and the APM (which Canip very kindly did) so your comment is very timely. Any further remark between those two would be more than welcomeDefinitely a big FOV. I can keep up with swallows at close distance. I bet they are the same or very similar. I think the ocular lens on the APM is 30mm, which is huge.Hi Jeff. Sorry I have not tried the APM MS 6.5x32 ED, but it looks like the Levenhuk Sherman Pro 6.5x32 is very similar. The optics on the Levenhuk are crystal clear in the sweet spot with huge FOV (10 deg), large diameter of ocular lenses (maybee 28 mm, dont remember), but with a stiff focus wheel and quite heavy.
I’d like to compare these two bins some day.
Once I get my APM 6.5x32, I will write a review on it. It takes about two weeks to get a pair from APM in Germany.I just asked for a comparison between the 8x32 Oberwerk SE and the APM (which Canip very kindly did) so your comment is very timely. And in the meantime you can read my review ...Once I get my APM 6.5x32, I will write a review on it. It takes about two weeks to get a pair from APM in Germany.
Are you sure you read the review? Cf. The APM 6.5x32: Mini review, post #1. 😁 🙃 😁Nice review, Herman. I can't find the weight anywhere. How much do they weigh? Everybody says they are kind of heavy for a 32mm. Thanks!
