    We were happy to see this little beauty, which in Australia is only found in Cape York. It was quite a distance away, but in good late afternoon light.

    One of my favourite Birds....always a thrill to hear the first cuckoo of the year.This one is about my fourth I jave seen but the first one to be able to take a picture of!

    These charming birds, like mini falcons, darted around the campsite in the Booderee National Park..lovely large eyes they have!
