    Quite a few Cuckoo's around at the moment but I'm only seeing and hearing males. This one was calling all morning yesterday with no sign of any females around. Bit worrying.

    Really happy with this Cuckoo....image not brilliant but at 125 metres using 75 zoom and IPhone. I was focusing on a Hobby and this Cuckoo took its place.

    Unfortunately not so common now.It is one of my favourite birds and is one of the highlights of the year for me to hear them calling let alone photographing one.I have had glimpses of this beauty over the last week or so but he was never around longing enough to photograph...until yesterday...
