Taxonomy
Yellowish Bulbul formerly included Camiguin Bulbul.
Formerly placed in genus Ixos.
Subspecies
Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:
- H. e. everetti: Dinagat, Mindanao, Panaon, Biliran, Siargao, Samar and Leyte
- H. e. haynaldi: the Sulu Archipelago (Bongao, Jolo, Sibutu, Tawitawi and Sanga Sanga)
Subspecies samarensis is considered a synonym of everetti.
Habitat
Forests, forest edges and secondary growth. Occurs below 1000 m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of fruit and, probably, insects, but there is no detailed information available.
