Identification

33cm (13 in)

  • Bluish-grey top of head, cheeks and nape
  • Yellowish-green wash on forehead
  • Yellowish-green throat
    • Yellow neck
  • Yellow feet and legs

Asia: found in China, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Eastern and Western Himalayas, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

Habitat

Dry decideous forests amongst fruiting trees, gardens.

Behaviour

Diet

The diet includes fruit, especially figs.
