Distribution
Northeastern Mexico (Coahuila to Nuevo León, Zacatecas and Veracruz).
There are a couple old records from the 19th century in Arizona.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Subspecies browni no longer appears to be recognised[2]
Habitat
Desert with small bushes.
Behaviour
Breeding
May- July. The clutch consists of 3-4 eggs.
