South America: Eastern Bolivia (eastern Santa Cruz) to interior southwestern Brazil and northern Paraguay.
Taxonomy
Araguaia Spinetail was formerly considered a part of White-lored Spinetail.
Subspecies
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
