Found in the mountains of northeast Tanzania (Pare and Usumabara mountains)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
Formerly considered conspecific with Olive Thrush, Karoo Thrush, Taita Thrush, Somali Thrush and Abyssinian Thrush.
