Western Africa: DRC
Eastern Africa: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi

Taxonomy

Subspecies^[1]

There are 2 subspecies:

• C. w. woosnami:

• North-eastern Zaire to Uganda, Burundi and northern Tanzania (south to Iringa)

• C. w. lufira:

• South-western Tanzania (Kigoma and Rukwa)

Habitat

Dry savanna and lowland grassland. Fringes of Miombo woodland.
