Distribution
South-east Asia: found on Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered conspecific with Black-eared Oriole.
Habitat
Moist lowland forests, mangrove forests, and moist montanes.
