Herpsilochmus sticturus

Identification

10.2cm. Black crown and nape, broad white eyestripe, white and grey face, grey back, black wings with white spots on coverts, grey-white underparts, black tail tipped white and with white spots. Female similar but rufous crown and nape, buff underparts.

Distribution

Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Moist lowland forests.
