Identification
White band from bill to eye, white eye-ring and grey-brown upperparts. Below there are rufous tinges to the breast and flanks.
Distribution
Two distinct areas; one the central Amazon Basin with parts of the Guianas. Also Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Habitat
Moist lowland forests and swamps.
Behaviour
Its diet includes a variety of beetles and insects including caterpillars.
