Identification
14.5 cm, Long bill, dusky legs, slate gray above, pale gray below, black wing coverts with 2 rows of small white dots, brown primaries. Female - gray head, brown back, dark brown wings with 3 rows of buff spots, buff throat, orange rufous underparts.
Distribution
Brazil south of the Amazon (Rio Madeira to Rio Tocantins and northern Rondônia).
Taxonomy
Split from Spot-winged Antbird.
Monotypic.
Habitat
Moist lowland and montane forests.
