Distribution
Asia: found in China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Eastern and Western Himalayas, Bangladesh, Bhutan
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand

Habitat
There are generally seen in forests and second growth in hill country up to about 1800 m.
