Automolus paraensis

Distribution

South America: found in Brazil south of the Amazon (Rio Madeira to Rio Tocantins)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1 which was elevated to full species as result of a 2002 study.

This taxon is considered a subspecies of Olive-backed Foliage-gleaner by some authors[2]

Behaviour

Para Foliage-gleaner differs in voice characteristics from Olive-backed Foliage-gleaner.
