Identification

Distribution

Formerly endemic to Pagan Island (Mariana Islands) in the Pacific Ocean.
A little studied species, believed to have survived in small numbers until at least the 1960s.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considerd conspecific with Nightingale Reed Warbler.
