Identification
This species is known from bones excavated from several sites, and a sketch from 1793 possibly shows this species. This is not colored, so it is impossible to know what it actually looked like.
Distribution
Extinct. Formerly occurred on the Tonga Archipelago, including Vanuatu and possibly Fiji. Extinction happened after humans arrived on the islands.
