Southeastern Assam (Lushai Hills) in India to western Myanmar (Chin Hills)

Taxonomy

Clements now places this species in the genus Ianthocincla, Gill and Donsker in Pterorhinus

This is a monotypic species[1].

This species was recently split from Chinese Babax
