Thryothorus longirostris

Identification

Long bill, white supercilium, black eye stripe, rufescent brown upperparts with barring on the wings and tail, white chin, buffy breast.

Similar Species

Fawn-breasted Wren does not overlap in range.

Distribution

Eastern Brazil

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognized:

  • C .l. bahiae
  • C .l. longirostris

Was formerly placed in genus Thryothorus like all other species of the genus Cantorchilus.

Habitat

Undergrowth of forest and woodland
