Distribution
Australasia: breeds Henderson Island (south-eastern Pacific).
Wintering areas are currently unknown.

This is a monotypic species[1].

Diet
Their diet consists mostly of squid, with the addition of fish and crustaceans.
Breeding
Nesting happens on surface as opposed to in burrows, and visits to the nest takes place in the afternoon into evening rather than at night only.
