  • Orange or yellow eyes
  • Pale grey lores
  • Pale legs

Distribution

Africa: found from southern Kenya to Tanzania, Zambia, southern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi and Mozambique

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1.

Habitat

Gallery forest, riparian and bamboo thickets, groundwater and moist evergreen forests.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of beetles, grasshoppers and fruit.
