Distribution
Asia: found from northern India to south-western China, Myanmar and Indochina
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forest at heights around 700–1800 m, usually near streams.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of berries and insects; also snails (which they have been observed using stones as anvils to break the shell).
Breeding
The nest is a shallow cup in a tree fork about 10 m above ground.
