South America in cloud forests of southeastrn Brazil in Rio de Janeiro (Serra dos Órgaos)

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Cloud forests at around 1370–1980 m.

Behaviour

Diet

There is little information available, but they have been reported as eating berries.
