Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Formerly regarded conspecific with Sakhalin Grasshopper Warbler.
Habitat
They breed in bamboo thickets, forest glades, meadows beside rivers and the fringes of taiga.

Their main diet is insects.
