Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This taxon is considered a subspecies of Apalis sharpii (sensu lato) by some authors[2]
Habitat
Montane and lowland forests, forest edges and wooded streams.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of insects and small invertebrates.
